What's in a name?

Just a glimpse into yesterday’s big event

my wonderful students had the chance to donate one of their books for a library in poor village somewhere in Ro. They were really excited when I told them the previous day and promissed that they would certainly donate one of their books. Yesterday one of them held his book until we got there, and after signing, he gave the book to the ladies but didn't imagine it wasn't his anymore; he was shocked and never imagined he actually had to give the book; actually he didn't know what “donate” meant, though while signing he kept telling the ladies that those kids (for whom they gathered books) would learn both En and Ro because it was a bilingual book...he probably thought donate=borrow

an hour later...the same student at the British Council, he found a book “Animals like us”, he made me borrow it for him; when we got out he actually thought I had bought it...buy=borrow

why is he my favourite student? Because he's a cute 7 years old kid who already speaks 2 languages and learning the third right now....
never too early...but always too late
